Whether you call them GTIN or EAN, the 13 digit global identification numbers have increasingly become more and more important. Google states that having these numbers in your feed can provide a conversion increase up to 20%. EANs will be a very vital part of product feeds starting from Feb 2017 in countries such as Denmark, Norway and Sweden. After this date, feeds without these numbers will not be accepted.
