More and more are starting to use WakeupData for finding the lowest prices among a list of suppliers through product ids. This is a great way to ensure that you get the best price for a given product. It is especially very relevant if you are working within a low margin product field.
You might expect this to be a complicated process, but using WakeupData, it is not at all.
How does it work?
WakeupData can receive and grab data from numerous solutions and combine them together, you can get the lowest price across multiple suppliers by following a very simple process:
1: Import products from supplier #1 - Let's call them, Acme.
2: On top of Acme, merge or insert products from supplier #2. This allows you to add all new products, but merge already existing products between both suppliers into one. Merge them by using either the EAN/GTIN numbers or a manufacturer ids.
3: Choose "Advanced merging" and set merge "if lower than" and choose "Sales price + freight price".
You get a neat list of all products that are available across multiple suppliers with the lowest prices. And, as a side bonus, you will only have to import one file into your financial system or web shop. This way, you can avoid having to create multiple integrations into your own platform - making adding new suppliers easier while saving money.
