In the latest of our meet-the-team staff interviews, we talk to Senior Customer Success Manager Dan.
Hi Dan! Could you introduce yourself and let us know what it is you do at WakeupData?
My name is Dan-Vlad, I'm a Senior Customer Success Manager at Wakeupdata. My job is to make sure our clients are having a fantastic experience using our products. I also share updates and trends within the industry, making sure our clients are ahead of competition constantly.
I believe that trust is the key element in business relationships, therefore I make sure we are always transparent and honest in our relationships with our customers.
Can you tell us something about your background?
I started at Wakeupdata as an intern in January 2017. In all fairness, I did not know much about data integrations or digital marketing back then. But, I had the will and patience to learn my way through, with the help of a fantastic team at Wakeupdata.
I spent countless hours doing basic integrations, understanding marketplaces and digital marketing strategies. After two years I can definitely say that it was a hell of a ride and learning curve, but I am extremely excited about the future of Wakeupdata.
What is your favorite part of the job?
Definitely the people I get to work with. I learned that business is about honest relationships and trust - this is something I value and I hope it reflects in my performance as a Customer Success Manager.
As an WakeupData employee, I really appreciate the flexibility and freedom to experiment and implement new ideas. I am extremely happy that WakeupData team trusts me and I am an active part of the development of the company.
What are your interests or hobbies?
I am the Co-Founder of a start-up within Arts & Culture called Aarhus Makers. I spend most of my free time with Aarhus Makers team where we are working on shaping a cultural movement that connects creativity and community in Aarhus City. I am on a mission to encourage people to create and experiment with creativity and I would like to contribute to the development of the cultural scene in Aarhus, with an international angle.
Other than that, I am a big fan of sneakers and designer shoes. I am casually customizing my sneakers and look forward to have a collection at some point in my life.
And finally...who is your favorite superhero?
Charles Boyle from Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Hilarious character, makes me laugh and relax during evenings. My kind of superhero!
Perhaps not a conventional choice of superhero, but a good one nonetheless! Thanks Dan!
